As the K-8 Outreach Coordinator, Ms. Rian serves kindergarten through 8th grade student, parent and educator populations, with a particular focus on the middle school years, through strategic pipeline and college readiness initiatives in central Indiana. Formerly the Assistant Director in the Office of Student Scholarships at IUPUI, Ms. Rian managed scholarship award administration for incoming first year, transfer, returning and continuing undergraduate student populations. She was responsible in the advisement of prospective students to attract, enroll and retain high-ability undergraduate students to IUPUI.

Ms. Rian is also an alumni of Herron School of Art & Design at IUPUI having received her BFA in Sculpture in 2015. Her years within DEM, along with the varied perspectives of experience, lends to her insights and passion to help children be prepared to attend college.
